Coppersmiths work with copper in its solid state. Various pots and even building materials are among the many objects they make. Many are related to shepherding, such as sheep-bells and the shepherd’s hook; axes have ranked among the popular products for the market. Saddlers place many orders with them for various metal components for horse gear, and carpenters order mounts and ornaments for furniture, handles, and corners. Costume also included copper parts, notably buttons. In more modern times, brandy distillers and water boilers have also been made and repaired by coppersmiths.
