Réka Kiss is senior research fellow in the Institute of Ethnology of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Budapest. She holds a PhD in Ethnography from the Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest. Her monograph Church and Community in the Early Modern Period based on the Documents of the 17-18th Century Calvinist Diocese Of Küküllő was published in 1998 (in Hungarian). Her current research interests include historical anthropology, social and cultural history, church history and ethnology of religion.
